I finally got around to watching Oldboy. My cousin gave it to me a while ago, but I was always too lazy to watch it. Since I'm in Rancho Cordova for the week, my cousin got us to finally watch it. I freaking loved it. During the course of this week, we will probably be watching a movie every day or almost every day because that is what we always do when we're together.
I read a long time ago that Will Smith was going to be in an American remake of Oldboy. Hearing that there was going to be another American remake of an Asian movie is always bad news. I don't think I've ever seen a remake that was good. I Googled to see if Will Smith was really going to be in a remake of Oldboy, but I ended up finding that he was going to be in a movie based on the Oldboy graphic novel. But then again.. the Oldboy movie is loosely based on the graphic novel.. But still..
We'll see.
