I'm not saying everything we know about zombies is wrong, but what if? What if there is a real zombie outbreak and people try to survive by remembering everything they know from movies and books? What if they don't die when you smash their heads? What if they're smarter than what movies and books give them credit for?

I thought about this while I read World War Z and well, I actually started to get scared. A lot of people don't think that zombies will ever be real, but hey, anything can happen. A lot of people thought that America will never be ready for a black president and well, look what happened.

If a zombie outbreak really does happen, will what we know about zombies be an advantage or disadvantage?

If our information is wrong, then we're all fucked.

....... Connie, you watch too many scary movies! A black president happening is way more possible than a zombie invasion! (I wonder if we'll be alive for the first lesbian black woman president.)

&Couldn't we all just fly to Tennessee and hide in one of those underground tornado shelters? Or live in the sky somehow. Maybe they'd make a space station for people to live in like in Zenon, and we'd all go up there and be zombie free X] Or make indestructible suits out of the stuff they make airplane black boxes with.
I think the army would go out and try to kill them all, and if they don't succeed then people would focus on protecting themselves rather than exterminating the zombies. Or that SHOULD be the plan. haha

The underground tornado shelters can hold only a certain amount of people. Also, you can't hide in there forever! The zombies will just take over while people are hiding!

A space station would be very expensive to house everyone. Also, there's always the chance that an infected person will reanimate into a zombie while they're up there and infect everyone else.

Also, you can't trust the army to go out and try to kill them all because there's the chance that there are too many zombies to fight. (And supplies, etc..)

People CAN try to protect themselves, but you never know how zombies are until they're actually there. A lot of people will probably just end up turning into zombies themselves.
